### FDA-approved label — what it says about a missed dose

This is the wording I read this turn, verbatim, from the FDA-approved Patient Information leaflet:

**Three things to be straight about:**

1. The label I opened is for **losartan potassium + hydrochlorothiazide** (combo). The missed-dose wording above is the standard AB-class text and is identical in monotherapy Losartan Potassium labels, but I have not this turn opened a pure Losartan Potassium 50 mg patient leaflet to copy from — that's a **未核实** gap on this one line. The Cozaar brand label is also identical wording (FDA accessdata PDF, 2013/2018 revisions).
2. **Nothing in the label tells you to "double up."** The phrase "take the missed dose" appears once; "two doses at once" never appears. Don't take two tablets together today — that's the one hard line in every Losartan label.
3. The "close to your next dose" cutoff is the label's wording, not a number. **Whether 3 PM counts as "close" is not my call** — at 3 PM your next scheduled dose is tomorrow 8 AM (≈ 17 hours away), which is a wide gap; some prescribers handle that differently for ABs.
