My 4-year-old daughter is starting preschool next Monday in a strict "nut-free classroom".
I bought a box of organic oat granola bars. The ingredient list has no nuts, but below it says: "Made on equipment shared with peanuts and tree nuts."
My daughter does NOT have any food allergies herself. The preschool letter says "Strictly no peanuts or tree nuts in snack bags."
Can I pack this granola bar, or does a nut-free rule prohibit shared equipment warnings too? What should I do tonight?
